Summer is here and along with the brighter days, sunnier evenings and hopefully more heat waves there is one other thing….festivals!
Your car can be transformed into a trusty road trip mobile as well as provide some much needed storage for all your change of outfits and camping essentials.
Here are some of our packing hacks to get the most out of your car’s nooks and crannies…
1. Duct Duct Goose…
That’s right not only can a roll of duct tape be used as a drink holder but it’s also a handy tool to have around if your tent springs a leak or you need a quick patch up!
2. Extra Bedding for the Win
Worried about having to roll up a duvet and take away some of that space you needed to store other camping essentials. Why not lay it across the back seat? A comfy alternative, just make sure that all passengers are still able to fasten their seatbelts
3. Under Space and Out of Mind
Make use of that space underneath the driver and passenger seats to store those bulky boots and wellyboots! Even better bring some shower caps and use these to stop them getting too muddy!
4. Where’s the loo?
Don’t get caught out, always pack a bucket with some toilet roll and some antibacterial hand gel. Just in the case of an emergency.
5. Crate yourself some room
Instead of just throwing everything in the boot and hoping for the best, source some crates and use these to pack. Not only do they help organise everyone’s personal bits but they stop items rolling around. Even better? They can double as seats and tables while you camp out!
