What to do if you’ve been in an accident
For more detailed information on what to do in the event of an accident check out our blog below. Here’s a handy summary:
- Stop the car and switch the engine off.
- Turn your hazard lights on.
- Call 999 if anyone is hurt.
- If it’s minor, try to remain calm and take a moment to gather yourself.
- Don’t say sorry or take the blame, even if it was your fault.
- It's vitally important to swap details with the other driver.
- Call our claims team and they will guide you through the claims process.
